We plan to have a new "Meet the Professor Breakfast" session in the morning of April 16 and 17, 2010 in the Nexus, and are going to call for MTP proposals from candidates for moderators and professors |
|
|
|
|
|
|

The purpose of these sessions is to provide young trainees and junior faculty an opportunity to meet personally with active senior state-of-art professors who can provide insights in their field as well as career guidance in a small interactive group setting. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
- |
We plan to offer 20 to 25 tables targeted to different hot topics. Each table will include an established state-of-art professor(s), one or two experienced moderators, and about 10 attendees, so all attendees are guaranteed a small and intimate interactive discussion group. |

|
|
|
|
|
- |
The applicants need to find a sponsoring company which can offer 5,500 dollars for one proposal and additional 1,000 dollars for the breakfast for the attendees. If you plan to have professors (or moderators) who are not invited by the Nexus, you also need to cover their travel expenses (including the expenses during the stay). |

Scientific program committee and local organizing committee will discuss and decide the acceptance of the MTP. |

If more than one MTP proposes the same professor, the first-comer will be accepted. |
